I just got the Atheros AR5212A MiniPCI card and installed it in my Dell Inspiron 1300 laptop. I have 3 questions that I need help with.

First question is - In the network connections it shows my Atheros AR5212A card as Atheros 5001X+, why is that?

Second question is - How can I get the Dell Quickset, (FN) + (F2) to toggle the MiniPCI card on/off? Right now the (FN)+(F2) just toggles the wireless indicator on/off but has no effect on the Atheros AR5212A card (the card stays on). (FN) + (F2) controlled the MiniPCI card that I took out.

Third question is - After I got the Atheros AR5212A card in and working. I do not have the signal strength indicator (5 little bars) on the task bar anymore. How can I get that back too?

I want to use the Dell Quickset (FN) + (F2) on/off and it's signal strength indicator too.
