    Hello,

My laptop has an Intel Wifi device and I have installed the Intel My Wifi technology to share internet with other devices.

My friend's laptop has Atheros AR 9285 wifi.

Does Atheros has a similar software to share internet like Intel My WiFi?

Note: The devices which want to access the internet from my friends laptop does not support adhoc connection/ peer to peer

    OS: Windows 7.

Hi, I think Atheros Client Utility will help your friend to use it like AP and share Internet. Also depending on laptop manufacturer you will have different versions available.
