    Hello folks,

I just bought Asus WL-520GU router and set it up as recommended by manufacturer. I have used WPA2 security (if that matter to this question). This router is sitting right next to my Toshiba Satellite laptop but I have been noticing that I am losing wireless signal way too often.
I can't figure out what ths problem is. Can anyone offer me some pointers?

    Thanks in advance.

Have you checked for sources of interference in your vicinity, such as a lot of other wireless networks using the same channel(s) you're using, or cordless phones, or even a microwave oven?

If all else fails you could flash it with DD-WRT. Just click on router database and type in WL520GU. There are instructions for installation on the site. It may help with reliability.

You could run inSSIDer to see if there are any surrounding networks causing issues too.
