    Morning all

With my machine having a pretty pants wireless card (atheros ar9485wb-eg) I would like to upgrade it. I also want to enable widi and this card isn't supported. The rest of my hardware is fine for widi but not the Wifi card. Being only a semi-geek i haven't changed a wireless card before. I've read it's fairly straightforward.

With this in mind can someone recommend a suitable card for my machine please?

Here's the original spec from where i bought it:
    ASUS N56, N56VM-S4089V, ASUS N56VM-S4089V

    Many thanks

    O.

If you really need WiDi, you can only choose Intel 6235 or Intel 6205 (the former has integrated Bluetooth). Intel 7260's WiDi function won't work since Haswell chipset is needed for that functionality.
