I prefer Tomato firmware over DD-WRT... Are there any 802.11N routers out there that will run Tomato?

    Thanks

Moddified Tomato works on Asus RT-N16, Netgear WNR3500L, Linksys E1000, E2000, E3000 and maybe others.
It's a bit annoying though- If you like to play with firmware and work to make your USB port work it's fine otherwise OpenWRT a try.

tomatousb does the hardwork for you if you want to use the usb port on compatible router. The standard tomato usb firmware has network printing and NTFS/FAT32...etc support for NAS without mod.
