    Hey guys,

My new laptop is en route right now and I want to get a wireless router to use it around the house (right now I'm on a wired Linksys that shares internet between 2 computers). I don't know much at all about networking, especially wireless, and I want to buy a router that gives me the best bang for my buck with this sort of adapter (1500 draft 802.11n). Any recommendations?

Silly question - will it work with "slower" routers that are just g-type? (as you can see, I barely know what I'm talking about lol).

Yes to working with 11g. Infact I would not even use the 11n (set to gonly) , unless I was where I had no other networks within a NetStumbler Scan. 11n drivers have problem playing with others. Some do not play at all. Some will have a major connection problem if other 11b/g hardware is near. It's been over 2 yrs since the 11g was ratified, and some drivers still have problems with 11b. So don't expect anything different for 11n, it will be worst.
