Due to the wireless print server (part number ML-00LC/XAA) on my Samsung ML-2252w printer not being WPA capable, I'm currently using WEP (128bit) to secure my network. I've also got SSID broadcast turned off and MAC address filtering enabled. Granted I'm in NYC, so there are lots of networks about for your average wardriver (or walker, i suppose, in the City) to look for (I'm counting 7 here including a couple of unsecured ones), but is there anything else that I can do to further secure the network?

(Of course, if someone out there knows of a firmware that would enable WPA on that printer, that would be appreciated too).

One more thing to do is to disable remote administration on your router if it's not done by default, also if supported you might limit the range of the signal by lowering the power of your wireless transmitter which will lower the chances of bypassers picking it up. If you haven't already done it, turn of DHCP and assign static IP and change IP subnet from default.
