The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I got into pen testing last year, with backtrack 5r3, just started using Kali linux in a virtual machine recently...

    Just got a netis 300mbit adapter to go with my Alfa 1w adapter, wanted to show off a picture of my pen test machine :)
    (also have a internal intel 6205)

    edit: Need to run to walmart to get a new soldering iron, since I lost mine, to 'make' a 3-4 inch usb extension... Currently using a 6 foot usb extension to test it LOL....
