Is anyone in Denver or San Diego familiar with Ricochet Network wireless internet? (Their only coverage areas seem to be these two cities right now).

It seems like the Cricket Wireless of internet, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. I was looking at them as an inexpensive way to have wireless internet for my laptop ($27.99 a month plus a free pc card modem). Theyre only available here in the city limits, but that would be fine for me...I'll only need it at school and work. Just wondering how good (or bad) the service is. Thanks.

I am leary of places that advertise " UP TO" XX times faster, but do not advertise what the gauranteed connection speed is. I always think they will say, "Well it says up to XX times faster, but we dont gaurantee that."
