Yep. Got'em in my house. A little backgound first: About 3 years ago BellSouth ran fibre through my neighborhood in Miami because DSL would have to run further than 35000 feet from a Central Office. A CO is basically a huge switching box. Running fibre simply allows the company to extend distance. I finally bit the bullet when BellSouth offered a bundled deal for DSL, Cable and phone service. When they hooked up the DSL they used the powerline units to hook up my service. It runs through the wiring in your house. They work great. Where the fibre runs in to the front of my house is one unit hooked up via a CAT5 cable. Another unit is plugged into the wall in my office and hooked up (via CAT5) to a wireless router. I'm a happy camper. If you want to run totally wired you'll need a unit for each room.

The powerline work well when wireless will not. I've used a different brand in 2 story house. The speed is compatiable to a 10baseT network, but is faster than most DSL connections

It's good to hear that the technology has improved so much. I used powerline adapters about 8 to 10 years ago and they didn't work well at all. The connection was very slow and I had constant disconnects, even from one room to the next. I don't remember the manufacturer but they went out of business after a while.
