I have the Intel Wi-Fi Link 5300 set up in my Dell D820.
Intel says this 5300 card can go upto 450Megs/sec.

The reg for "N" if 300.
I have a D-link DIR-625 router and getting good speeds. On the same floor of the router i get 270~300.

Is there any router out there yet to match the Intel 5300 450meg speed?

I never seen any yet on my serch...

If you want to get those kinds of speeds you need to go with a Dual-Band Router. Netgear and D-link's DBN's don't score as high on tests as Linksys' WRT600N. Keep in mind though that you need DBN at both ends - your adapter and the router itself to get full speeds. Also, interference, input line speeds and location will all affect any throughput speeds you get.

If you want to see a DBN comparison test, you can go here:

Linksys' 610 router was tested but didn't do well - it's not the same nor as good as the 600. The test team actually uses a 600N for their regular activities, and got much better results when they reconnected it.
