    I use the internet at work and have noticed that loading webpages and files off the internet seems to be very slow.
    In the wirless network properties it seems to suggest the network speed is 54.0 Mbps. However I ran a test with speedtest and here is the result:

    // [IMG]"]

    and again after using CC Cleaner:

    // [IMG]"]

    Does anyone know how I can increase my download speed?

    Network speed and internet speed are very different. What internet plan do you have first of all? If you only have a plan that supports 3Mbps download, then you're getting the correct speeds.

    54Mbps is the max speed of your wireless-g WLAN connection... that's fine.

    The two speedtests suggest that your Internet service speed varied widely... that suggests some trouble out on the WAN beyond your control. Test it again over time to see if it continues to be troubled or settles down. If the slow down persists, report it to your ISP.

    I doubt CC Cleaner had anything to do with your ISP connection speed.

    I imagine the only really good way to speed up one's internet is by paying for a faster connection. But, if your isp allows it, I would recommend doing something like paying for your own modem instead of renting one from your isp.

    I bought this one a few months ago and haven't had to reset it since I set it up with my isp. Which is amazingly better than the one we were renting from our isp. Your wifi connection looks great... The internet speed that you're company is getting is what's the problem. If it's a big company there should be a way to file a ticket to report the internet slow on your computer. If it's a small company talk to whoever manages the internet connection.
