Hi, i currently have a Netgear RangeMax DG834PN wire connected to my desktop pc and am having no problems what so ever, but i've recently bought an Alienware m9750 and am trying to use the wireless feature on it with my router. I believe i have the 2 items sync'd together and connect to the wireless network fine and have an excellent signal but when i try to access the internet for browsing pages take ages to load and sometimes fail to open at all, also for downloads 1 minute it will be downloading at 170kb/s then it will drop right down to 10kb/s. when i'm using the notebookthe desktop is switched off and not using the router. My mum also has the same problem on her notebook. Im wanting to play online games with it but worried that it wont perform.

    Any sugestions?

    Thanks in advance

    Nella

the odd thing about this is the fact that it can be duplicated on two different laptops, so we should be able to rule them out

I would consider downgrading the firmware and see if there is a difference
