I have an older D-Link router (model BDI-514) that continually drops the connection - 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off. Has anybody else had this problem, or does anybody know a fix for tihs?

Did you install the latest firmware?

If you are still get problems, I think there is a reset button on the back and iti will revert everything to the default settings.

I actually use a D-Link PCMIA card, and I had the same problem. All my other computers would keep a solid connection, but I would connect, disconnect, connect, etc. every 30-60 seconds. I just turned off all D-Link software, and BAM, worked perfectly.

If it helps, it's an older model D-Link router model BD-514, and if I remember correctly I set-it up without using the CD.
