This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I use my nokia n95 has a wifi finder. it's way much better then any cheap wifi finders.

    What info gives your Nokia about the wifi hotspots ? (SSID,secured or non-secured, directional ...)

    I can install many very usefull apps on symbian to use with wifi so it depends.
    But with the OS only it gives you the signal strength, SSID, non-secured, secured and the encryption type. way better then just a couple green leds...
