    Hi all,

I am trying to set up my home desktop as a vpn server so that i can access my files at all times and remote desktop if needed. I have managed to get this to work for all but one issue, which is I can only connect the to the vpn from the external network is in the DMZ of the router. Obviously this is not ideal, I have tried port forwarding all the ports that i have found that i thought might be relevant. I was just wondering if anybody has had a similar issue.

The router is a BT Homehub and I am using windows 7 professional on both laptops. The ports that i have forwarded are: 1723, 47, 3389, 500, and 1701.

    Any help would be appreciated
