Hi everyone. I upgraded my G73's wireless adapter to Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6200. I'm using Wireless G+ MIMO Router as wireless router in our house, but everytime I connect to it, it's hard to get connected. Sometimes, it says "Unidentified Connection," "No Network Access," "No Internet Connection," and also "Limited Access." What could be the reason of this frequent disconnection and hard-to-connect problem? I don't think its the driver's problem because I updated the driver and it is freshly installed. I also tried to connect other devices and I can easily connect to it. Thank You.

A little more info may help. What brand of router are you using? Are you having the same symptoms when in close proximity to the router? Do you have any MAC address filtering in place on the router that you didn't adjust upon adding the new WLAN card? Have you checked the 802.11n channel width settings for the card? You should set them to auto. Also, it may sound silly, but have you tried rebooting your router since having these issues.

Well for one, it's a "G" router and an "N" NIC. You'll want to go to the NIC device properties under 'Device Manager' and set the card to possibly use "G" mode only and disable 'N'.

Is the router's wireless encrypted? Using WPA/WEP? If it is, make sure you're entering the encryption key correctly.

Check IP settings. Is a static IP Address assigned to the laptop in question? Or should it be getting one automatically from the router?

Don't laugh but try changing the channel in your router.I suggest anything other than auto and if possible avoid channel 1 and 6(chances are most of your neighbours opperate in those channels.)
