This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Alltel Acess + Router?

    OK, we have Alltel's Access service that uses are cell phone( Samsung R500) to access the web, but I'd like a router so all my OSes(besides windows) can connect. I'm thinking of buying a used T40 to use as a full time server, but do not know how I can get my router working through the computer from the phone.
    Hope that makes sense ;)
