    Aircard conflict issues w/Vista

    I have AT&T Air CArd 881 PCMA works great in all my other laptops.
    I installed Communication Software in my New Acer 4420 and it wipes out all the drivers for the touch pad and keyboard etc.
    Had to do system restore to undo.
    I download latest version of the software - same problem.
    I contact AT&T they say it is an Acer Problem.
    I contact Acer they want $59 to tell me how to fix this problem.
    Acer 4420 with Vista Home Prem w/Ser Pack 1 AT&T software 6.9.115
    Any good advice ?

    Acer charges for help on a new computer! Yikes, i never would have bought one before and defiantly wont now.

    Hey Bob,
    Did you ever figure this out? Did you get a fix?
    We have this exact problem with our Acer 6930 Vista 64 bit.
    We have tried several aircards, none will work with thsis brand new ACER computer, We also tried it on our son's Acer which is 6 months old...no luck. It works fine on our old DELL laptop.
    I have learned that this is a huge problem with ACERS. I am so disappointed to hear of Acers response. If I come up with a fix I am going to post it on every forum.
