I have AT&T as my service provider. Which air card shoud I purchase for my laptop? I have the Acer 6930 series.

Any of thier USB models would work. I have AT&T for my phones but Sprint for my aircard. If you were planning on just putting your phone sim card into the aircard they will charge you dearly. I spent about 30min with my phone tethered to my laptop one afternoon and it cost me $38. My unlimited sprint plan costs only $59

We purchased an ACER 6930 for Christmas and have now tried several differnet aircards that AT&T offer. NONE HAVE WORKED. The AT&T tech said that there are knowN issues with Acers and aircards.

I went to the Acer site and could not find this issue addressed.
However after reviewing several forums I now know that Acer has problems with lots of differnent celluar providers.

This new Acer is 64 bit Vista, but we have since tried the aircard on our sons
32bit Vista and it doesnt work either. It does however work on our old DELL with XP.

Has anyone successfully run an aircard on Acer apsire 6930-6455?
Does anyone know of a fix?
