Hi there. I'm new here and hoping someone can help me with a problem/question.

I am trying to add a DELL laptop (wireless) to an existing network that already has a DELL PC (wired) and another DELL laptop (wireless). I am using a LINKSYS wireless router (WRT54G).

I have run the Wireless Setup routine, and the new laptop is able to access the shared Internet through the wireless router. I have File and Print sharing turned on, but I cannot get access to the PC. I had it where the PC would show up in Network Neighborhood, but it said I didn't have permission to access the PC and/or couldn't find the path.. I trying things to fix this, I have now lost everything that was in the Network Neighborhood folder, and the folder had disappeared from the desktop.

Since I already have Internet access through the router, that parts seems to be working properly. How do I get this new laptop on the Network so it can "see" the PC on the network and access the files on that PC?

    Thanks for any help.

Make sure all pc are in the same group, vista def to something else. Check your firewall settings, they cause the most problem.
