New forum member, looking for some help with my Lenovo 3000.

I just installed the Bluetooth daughter card and drivers. It shows up OK in device manager, which says all is working.

However, when I try to search for my cell phone, the Bluetooth Devices tab says the Bluetooth radio isn't powered up.

Bluetooth also doesn't show up under Lenovo Access Connections.

Any thoughts? Is there something that prevents me from adding the card if the computer wasn't originally equipped with one?

    TIA.
