I recently did a complete wipe of my pc and reinstalled Vista. everything was going well, until I noticed my wreless adapter was not working. I tried moving the switch to enable WLAN but that didn't work. I also tried downloading the broadcom wlan driver from acer but that didnt work. Does anyone know of a possible fix? Any help is appreciated.

If you downloaded and installed the proper drivers and have issues then the Wireless Adapter might be disabled in the BIOS. You can access the BIOS by pressing a Fn (Function Key) at the computer's boot up screen. The exact Fn key to press should flash on the screen while booting up.

Go in there and look for the Wireless Adapter and verify it's not disabled.
