    Hi Experts .

I have a 1MB internet connection(ADSL) and a linksys router (RangeBooster). Now, when connecting to internet via the router, at the beginning it works Ok, then the speed get decrease (I can see this in the wireless connection icon in the taskbar) and keep decreasing until the connection get disconnected, then after a while (afew seconds) it gets back to connected status with the expected speed, this behavior is repeated each 3 mins, so what would cause this problem?

Make sure you have the latest drivers in your NB and router. These have a great impact on stability and performance.

It may be a thermal problem in the acer since it take a while before it starts becoming unstable. Wireless radios run HOT, so cooling is a must. Have you tried it with a different router? This will help pinpoint which device is have the problem. If it's acer and driver update did not correct the problem, you may need to contact acer for service.
