This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hello evey one ..

    my first post .. and its in desperation .. i have an acer 5535 laptop .. windows vista ... and i can only connect to the www by a mobile broadband connection which is thru a '3' dongle .. and the isp i use is google chrome..

    the problem i have and i have no idea how to solve it .. is the connection will just drop out between the ' 3' connection and the isp .. sometimes it only take a few minutes to drop our or it will take a good few hours .. i have looked at the network and sharing centre ..and its got a big red cross between the icon for the '3' connection and the isp connection... i can only describe it as thay stopped working together .. the only way i can then get the connection to work again is by restarting the laptop //

    now i am in no way lap tob expert ... and the problem is just driving me nuts

    if any one could find the time to help .. i would be for ever in you dept !
