While I was fixing a display driver install issue that required many driver whipes and uninstalls, I got to a step where I had to restart while re installing the dell 196.86 display driver. Asked me if I wanted to install some storage/network drivers...well apperently I didn't install the network driver. I forgot what the name was too. So now I cannot get any wireless connections on my laptop.

The weird thing is, random times when I turn on my laptop it will show wireless connections, and it will sometimes stay connected to one for maybe 5 minutes. One time it even stayed connected for a few hours. But most of the time, it shows wireless connections for about 5 minutes and then it says it cant find any at all.

I got help from Aeris who helped me with my display driver issue and said to remove the Dell wireless 1510 N WLAN mini card. I did that, and later windows installed the default broadcom driver. (The broadcom driver and the dell driver were giving me problems.)

So the question is, how am I supposed to get the "vital" nvidia network driver back if I have no Internet connections at all? I tried Disabling/renabling drivers and uninstalling some...no use.

If you have system restore you can roll back and start over.

I have done that, problem still stands.

Well it looks like I had the nForce drivers on the computer, just didn't install them (decided to type nForce into the start menu...) so I installed the storage and network drivers again. The internet worked all day yesterday but when I turned it on again I still couldn't connect to any connections. Then after about 10 minutes it decided to connect...
