    Hi Guys -

I have AT&T laptop connect card. This isnt wifi, but do I need to protect this internet connection with anything? (like I would if this was wifi or my own router)

If so, how do I do this? How do I set it up so I have to use a password to sign into the 3g network? And do I still need to use windows built in firewall?

Im confused since I was told WIFI and MIFI are 2 different things?

    thanks
