Every time i turn on my Wi-Fi card, the BT (BlueTooth) turns on too.
How can I disable it, to prevent BT from turning on automatically?

    Thanks.

I have Bluetooth installed but never use it, so I disabled it.

-Go to Start> Run and type services.msc in the box and press Enter.
-Find the Service called "Bluetooth Support Service" or "BthServ" and double click on it.
-The 'General' tab should be shown by default. Next to the field labeled Startup Type, click on the drop-down menu and change it from Automatic to Disabled.

If you need to re-enable it in the future, all you have to do is reverse the process above!

I've tried what you had written. The icon of BT dissapeared from the tray, but the led of BT transmition is still on. So i suppose that it still works. How do I turn it off?

Is there a separate led for the wireless, or do both wireless and bluetooth activate the same led?

The switch on the laptop is configurable in the bios. By default it is set to toggle the wifi and bluetooth on and off. However, you can set it for just the wifi, or just the bluetooth. I have mine set for wifi all the on and the switch to toggle the bluetooth on and off when i need it. (hit f2 when you first turn the laptop on and see the dell splash screen to get into the bios)

When I've done so, the BT stoped working at all. I mean, when I disable the turning on by the toggle, the BT doesn't work.

And yes, there is a separate leds tof Wi-Fi and BT.

In addition, I have on my Ispiron 1525 different keys of "play, pause, FF..." placed by the monitor. None of them works. How do I activate them? Do I need any driver?
