Okay, we have a WRTP54g (vonage edition or w/e) and its been absolute hell.

I'd like to get a wireless-N router, but i dont know what to buy. Are there any of these that are good but cheap?

Also, if i decide to forgo wireless n, whats the cheapest/best router i can get?

ive had enough of this, its terrible.

    thanks in advance!

What is wrong with it...and do you need the voip capabilities in the new router?

What do you mean it mixes up addresses and inactivity. Could you elaborate on them a little?

For the dropped connections did you try changing the transmission frequency on the router to another end of the spectrum like ch. 1 or 11?

    Just on Belkin...
our Router was perfectly fine for 2 years... absolutely no problem - then it turned temperamental...

(I wish I could solve the problem...)

I had my linksys wrt54g from when it first came out till about a month ago. Still worked great and never had a problem with it. Only replaced it for an all in one iptv/voip/router package thing from uverse.
