I have a D-Link DIR-655 Router. My Thinkpad laptop connects at a very high speed at 802.11n. My Toshiba P205 laptop will only connect to g and is slow. Both laptops have the newest Intel driver. Anyone know a solution?

What intel card is in the P205 ?

The i4965 will only do 11n with 5Ghz (A band), in 2.4Ghz (G band) it maxes out at 144Mhz (130 with Dlink DIR-655)

If you have an older card (i3945) it will only do 54Mbps max
