Referring to the headline, can someone find out, whether there is such a card with 802.11n-standard?

My present notebook Clevo M720SR, has a Realtek 8187B-card inside, which is only up to 54MBit/s, in a miniPCIe-Slot.

Wanted to change that into a n-card, but several cards failed, where not detected as new hardware.

Had a look in the device ID of the Realtek, it is not like PCI\VEN...&DEV...&SUBSYS..., but USB\VID...&PID..., which, as I was said, is a "non-genuine" PCIe-Slot with USB-characteristics, and this is why all cards didn´t work.

    So I need a n-card for miniPCIe-Slot, but USB-Device ID.

    Thx.

So you want a wireless N mini pci-e card but for it to be read as a USB card?

    Yes exactly.
    Haven´t experienced such before.
When searching for a suitable card, I get countless of USB-Stick adapters displayed, but not the card, I want, so this is really weired.

Just to make clear: it´s a mini pcie-slot, but with USB-Interface.
