I have a b and g network at home. Ever since g was installed b started to have problems. Actually it only occurs on this particular laptop that have a 802.11b/g NIC. When it connects to the b AP, it causes the AP to disconnect from the router. It keeps disconnecting and connection every 2-3 seconds and can go on for hours.

I tweaked a few settings on my laptop wifi card. Like protection mode, power settings, transmit power etc. Then it seems to okay now (fingers crossed)

Is this cause by mix of network b / g ?

I highly doubt it. In my home I run a mix between b / g and it works fine. They run on different frequencies so they shouldn't really bug each other. Take them out for a drink :p
