I just installed a Netgear 802.11-N router from a 802.11-G router. My PC is wireless and works fantastic. My laptop constantly gets network timeout, can't find site and is slow to connect. I did not have this problem with the G router. The laptop is a five year old Toshiba. Any setting I should look at on my laptop?

The laptop connects and has good signal strength or weak signal strength? Also what kind of card is in you laptop (A,B,G)? Did you put the router in the same place, some things can cause interference.
Also check for software/driver updates for that computer model's wireless card. If you using an external card, check for new drivers as well.
Lastly check the router setup page to make sure it is broadcasting a b signal as well as N. One of my routers had a setting to only broadcast a g signal.

Thanks for the reply. Signal strength is Excellent, the laptop probably has a B card, the router is exactly in the same place. I will check out the other items you mentioned. I am having trouble getting back into the router via wireless after setup as I keep getting the error (10.0.0.4) is managing this device.
