Hello all, have got myself into a bit of a fix replacing a mini-pci card, and would appreciate some help.

I have a Inspiron 510m originally fitted with an Intel 2200BG wireless card. This kept dropping its connection (which i believe is a common problem) , so after messing around trying different drivers/settings I bought a replacement (broadcom) card off ebay.

Now, my problem is the antenna jacks on this card are on the far right, whereas they were in the centre of the original intel card. So the antenna cables are too short to reach. Though the black one (aux) will just about fit into
the main plug - what will happen if i do this?.

    Would appreciate any help. Cheers

Never mind, have contacted the seller of the card who has pointed me in the direction of some ($20!) extension leads, which should do the job.

Oh, why did i try upgrading a Dell. :(
