I've been using 3 Mobile broadband with the ZTE MF622 HSDPA modem.

I notice every time i connect using this modem it opens up a new instance of Vista's network location profile (there's hundreds now for 3). Is there a way so that it uses a specific profile for this hardware instead of asking all the time?

Also, are there any alternative software solutions for connecting to HSDPA services, etc, as i find the software provided by 3 is somewhat lacking (not as bad as vodafone it would seem though peoples mileage may vary i guess).

    Cheers,
