    Hi,

I am about to buy my first laptop, and i haven't decided which of the 2 i should get. I know the 2200BG is cheaper, as it is an older card, but other than the fact that it doens't have 'a' support, is there any major difference in terms of dropped connections, the strength of the connection etc etc?

    Any help will be apprieciated.
    Thanks

Nothing is different between the two cards apart from the yes 'A' band. But then again i dont think anywhere uses 'A' so i would think that its a extra waste of money. But virtualy they are the same card. I think with the latest drives for the 2200BG the speed drop has been fixed so no problems with that anymore.
