    Hi,

    I need to buy a wireless router, both laptops have N capability. The problem is I hear N does not have as good range and the router will be upstairs and the notebooks will mostly be used downstairs. This house is not big (3 Bedrooms), but its old so the walls are thick. Will this be a problem?

    Any help on this matter would be great, I am looking on ebay for a cheap N router at the moment.
