The versalink verizon router that was provided to me by my isp, was unable to cover my whole apt with wireless. As a result, I bought a actiontec GT784WN, and used a really long ethernet cable to connect my verizon router with the actiontec router, resulting in greater wireless coverage.

This setup was working fine for months, but all of a sudden I am unable to connect to the internet with the actiontec routher. I've tried using a hardwire and using wireless, but something about a dns error keeps on popping up.

I tried calling my isp butthe technician told me that the setup off connecting two routers will not work. Is this really the case? I find it hard to believe since it was working fine for months...

Additional help will be great. I don't understand what went wrong, I didn't chance any settings, and things were working fine for a really long time.

Actiontec shouldn't be set up to work as a router but as an Access Point.
