    hello
    im trying to transffer some files through a network
    the desktop and the old notebook hp are working at 100mbs or 11mbytesps
    but my new dell works only at 10mbs
    sometimes even at 100kbs
    its about configuration on the new notebook, should be simple but i have no idea

    the model is Dell e6400
    its says that its a 10/100/1000 card so it should work

    This is via wired? It might not be setting it correctly via automatic mode, you may have to put 100mb mode manually. What OS are you running?

    now it says 100mbs
    but when i try to transfer something it loads very slowly
    drops to 300kbs
    also canceling takes 1 minute
    the ethernet port led on the back which should be green is orange

    please hhelp

    i tried to copy a 300 mb file and it went with 2mbs
    now a 1gb file doesnt load at all
