im getting my first laptop pretty soon. I think it would be great if my lazy ass could control my PC from the other side of the room with my laptop via wireless. I watch a lot of anime on my tv through my PC. After every ep i have to get up to start the next ep which sucks. If i could change movies and turn the musiic on with my remote laptop i'd be in heaven.

I know i can view all the files on my PC; delete and move them around. But what else is possible with a laptop and PC?

If you're running Windows XP, have a look at the remote desktop connection feature. It requires no additional software, other than XP on both computers.
