This tip covers how to enable the 5 GHz band on the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6200 AGN mini pci express card. Usually this band comes disabled by default. So, now you can have dual band wireless on it: 2.4GHz + 5GHz. The model number of my card is exactly 622ANHMW.

In order to do that, go to Control Panel -> Device Manager -> choose Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6200 AGN -> right click -> Properties -> Advanced -> Wireless Mode. On Value choose 6. 802.11a/b/g. By default it comes with "4. 802.11b/g" which only works on the 2.4 GHz band.

It is also recommended to adjust the Transmit Power, in case you are worried about the excessive electromagnetic radiation.

The driver used in my case is the official one from Microsoft, version 15.4.1.1, date 1/23/2013.
