    [HELP!] Replacing Intel 6235 in Asus Zenbook UX32VD

    Hi Guys,

    I recently purchased a Zenbook UX32VD in Australia, and the WiFi card that it came with was the Intel Centrino 6235.

    Upon using it, I noticed that my connection would drop out and there would be lots of packet losses.

    Upon noticing this, I hit the net. Only to find out that there are many users having issues with this card. It has been going on since 2012, and Intel does not have a fix.

    I decided to upgrade the WiFi card. I purchased an Intel Ultimate 6300. Upon receiving it, I was installing it, however noticed that the antenna plugs on the card are much larger than the default Intel 6235. (please see image in URL below)

    Because of this, I couldn't change the card out. I didn't realise that there were different sized antenna plugs, thought they were all standard sized.

    I've been trying to look for alternative cards to replace my 6235, however I haven't found much luck online.

    I would like to find a WiFi card that will plug and play directly into the antenna plugs already there.

    Has anyone upgraded their WiFi card and has experience with this?
