I have an intel 3495 abg. I hate it! it sux, it never works well, never reliable, the latest drivers just make it worse. I wanna get something reliable. I am looking for something with better reception, I don't care about future compatibility with N wireless. I am not concerned with speed that much either. Just reliability and long range/better reception. What do you guys suggest? and will it improve the connection? I am always far from the routers, either at school or at home, since it is in a building across the street.

    please help.
