    hi all! :eek:

    I'm a floridian resident and planning to order the GT780R w/ GTX570m from xoticPC! this is my first time ordering from them and have no idea about taxes and tried to obtain info everywhere but no dice :( !! how much do they charge for taxes in FL? also soon I will move to california (LA) so I would like to know about taxes there too just in case!

    They only charge tax within Nebraska.

    The lovely idiosyncrascies of our taxes. Got to love them.

    Anyway, in general, you only get charged online tax if the company you're buying from maintains a physical location in the state you're sending it to.

    For example, I live in California. When I order from GenTechPC, I get hit by the abominable ~8.75% sales tax. However, if I were to order from Xotic, who are not in California, I could skip out on that.

    Since you live in Florida, you wouldn't get taxed by either reseller.

    Ah but technically you should declare it (As I understand it very few people do) in your tax returns anyway.
