is it only the newer monti's or can i put a t9300 i have laying around in it. i noticed its still socket 478 and supports ddr2 ram so i was wondering if this t9300 wold work in it? thanks
nevermind i found the info. i was hoping it would support the older ones also. but it doesnt

Thought someone had tested that on the forum which worked?

really the t9300 will work?? i have 2 sitting here and if they work it will save me from buying a new chip since imo i dont see much benefit anyway..please more info
thank you!!!! -
I don't see why the T9300 wouldn't work...there are 1651 owners with T9400/T9500s.

most montevina notebooks will not support the older penryn's thats the reason i asked. since i have it already it would be nice if it did.. otherwise id buy a t9400 or t9600
what cpu's can the 1651 support
