hey guys, Im a bit new to ATI stuff

last time i tried to do a clean install of windows 7 ultimate (deleting everything currently on laptop) i ended up doing a recovering because apparently the gfx drivers and everything also got deleted, which caused major problems.

    can someone explain how to:

    update catalyst, drivers, etc
    upgrade OS

    in layman's terms?

    thanks!

    (i love my GX640!)

    Easy way:
    -Upgrade your OS
-Use the handy drivers CD that came with your laptop
    -All done

Of course, the CD only contains the drivers that came with the laptop originally so you would want to go get the newest Catalyst stuff.

Besides that the CD will bring back the drivers for everything else you need
