I just bought the msi gt72 dominator pro laptop, I just heard that I can upgrade the GPU and was wondering if it would be possible to upgrade the cpu as well? The 4710 is a good processor but if I would prefer if I could upgrade it.

CPU: Not upgradeable.as soldered to motherboard.
GPU: You can go from a 880M to 980M but it will depend on whether MSI has this replacement progrmme in your country to do it or you will have to buy the parts and do it yourself, potentially voiding the warranty...

If you really want the best bang-for-your-buck, get the backpack from Monoprice. Costs $20 - $35.

For the HDMI cable... definitely buy it from Monoprice or Amazon Basics. Do not spend more than $5 - $10 for the HDMI cable. Buying branded "Monster" cables for $40+ is an absolute waste of money.

I don't think anyone knows at this point. Ubisoft has been a bit.... dodgy when dealing with ports to PC. I am sure you will run the game, but the performance I am not so sure.

OP, if you have related questions, just ask them all in one thread. I did you a kindness and merged all the threads you created so you don't have to go searching through a bunch of different threads.

Secondly, some folks have replied to your questions; it's good to show appreciation by saying "thanks for the reply" or "I appreciate the input". Posters that ask questions and then never acknowledge help they receive make the Internet feel unwelcome.

    Carry on.
