    is it possible to upgrade to a 2.3 Ghz quad core on the gt725 with a dual core?

    The best is to call MSI! You need to know if you can upgrade it and if their BIOS accepts! Call them today! Speak not nobody but the manager! Only they know the answers best!

    Yes, the GT725 takes q9000, q9100, and q9300. People in the forum have done it.

    1722 chassis is insanely upgradable CPU wise. It will accept Q9000, Q9100, Q9200 and QX9300 along with every other Penryn under the sun.
