    hello every one i have a question , if i have a laptop brand new and its w7 32bit and i wanna upgrade to 64bit do i need to buy the cd or can i just use the serial from w7 32bit on a 64bit, i currently have home premium windows 7 32 bit, my laptop does support 64 thank you all in advance

    As long as the x64 disk is the same flavor as the key you have it will work. For example, your laptop has Windows 7 32bit OEM, therefore you'll need a Windows 7 64 Bit OEM Disk. Retail, not for resale, promotional, and action pack disks will not work with an OEM key.
