    hello everyone,

    I am searching around the internet and I have found one place where I can download a unlocked bios for this device... unfortunately it looks like I don't have the 'rights' to download those files on that site.

    so, does anyone know where I can get a unlocked BIOS for this one?

    why do you need some *unlocked* bios ?
    everything is in the bios you have now....search this forum for the keystrokes to reach the advanced bios mode.
    it's something like left alt, right ctrl, right shift, f2.....but I could be wrong :þ

    i think that was meant for the newer msi laptops :p

    This one is so old, that i still need to flash it.

    Have you simply tried to dump the bios and unlock yourself ?
    Also is there a reason for requiring an unlocked bios?

    Also the Key Combo doesn't work on older firmware i should know used to own the barebone version of this very laptop.

    i'll see what I can do. unlocking a bios myself is a tiny bit too risky for myself at the moment
